It’s #WUFO Time! Welcome to #WUFO Week 35! If you’re new, here’s a FAQ that will get you started. Reminder: send us a picture of your completed punch card and we’ll send you a little something in the mail! At its very core, WUFO is a fun break from the week to hang out and enjoy each others’ virtual presences. You can do as little as go outside (or check a sky cam) at 10 PM your local time, or as much as hosting your own WUFO watch party (virtually or IRL)! WUFO has also created itself in a way and is continuing to grow all on its own – we’re here for the ride, wherever it may take us. We’re glad you’re here, too!

Stargazing Side Quest
Here’s this week’s side quest from Maighdlin Kelly, the astrologer extraordinaire:
You remember the summer triangle from previous side quests, now get ready for the great SQUARE in the sky: PEGASUS!
Pegasus is one of the largest constellations in the night sky. It is the constellation where Stephen’s Quintet can be found – one of the first images from the #JWST was of this visual grouping of galaxies:
Pegasus is also the constellation where the very first exoplanet was discovered in 1995, 51 Pegasi b Less than thirty years later we’ve already discovered over 5,000 exoplanets!! And YOU can help discover more! Yes, you!

To find Pegasus tonight, start by looking for the brightest “star” in the night sky. It will be in the east/southeast. That’s actually Jupiter! If you did the past couple of side-quests you’re probably already able to recognize Jupiter in the sky.
Now start from Jupiter and look above it until you see a big square of four stars. That’s Pegasus! The four stars of the “great square” will be the easiest to see.

Last Week’s Recap
So for WUFO #34 (Sept 7, 2022) we had special guest Alex “Bumpy Lumps” Fulop join us to read select UFO encounters from the Liminal.Earth map. One in particular involved High Weirdness with a one Mr. Arcturion in Grants Pass, Oregon:
MARCH 23, 2012 – APRIL 15, 2012
This is a multi-part story, but the other parts happen in different locations in Oregon, so I will add those to the map in other submissions. But this particular one centers around a small spiritual book and crystal shop in Grants Pass, OR called “Aquarius Books and Gifts”. The name itself was part of a series of synchronicities, so I’m starting a bit in the middle, but here are the key catch ups: A – I was already in contact with and being guided by an entity who had been communicating with me in various ways since October 15, 2011. B – I had never heard of the age of Aquarius mythos other than the song, and that song had been playing in my head regularly leading up to the time I discovered this shop. C – The entity went by many names, and one of them was “Arcturion”. It helps if you think of these names as different faces of the same being, each with its own unique energy. I had never to this point heard of the Arcturion or Pleiadian starseed mythos. The first time I passed the quaint little shop, I was moving here from LA, and my 9 year old twins started going nuts, shouting the name of the store over and over again (as if they had ever heard the name Aquarius at this point in their lives). This combined with the song synchronicity sealed the deal that I had to visit this shop. It was a bit later that I was communing with Arcturion, and was told I should go down to this shop and say that I was “Mr. Arcturion”. I had a great deal of trepidation and embarrassment surrounding this idea, but ultimately I went ahead with it in a modified way. Rather than confidently stating I was “Mr. Arcturion” I asked the shop proprietors if there were any messages for Mr. Arcturion. They pulled out a ledger full of dates, times and names and asked, “When are you going, sir?” A little afraid of what this might mean, I deflected the question. The owners took me into the back room, played some crystal bowls for me, and then asked when THEY were going. Without missing a beat, I found myself making a circling motion with my index finger around my palm and said, “Between the 20th and 23rd is the window”. Submitted by Zaruga

After discussing the oddities of this particular encounter, we remembered that this person had submitted bizarre encounter from Grant’s Pass in an overgrown area undergoing development.
“I have had dozens of experiences in this area (thus all the categories checked). Ghosts, “time travelers” (or whatever you call strangers who show up and know things only you would know about yourself), bipedal hedgehogs that saunter about like hobbits, golden foxes that could project ideas into your mind, a straight up wingless gargoyle one time, several ghost and shadow people, an attempted full body possession, and on and on and on. In 2012 when this began, this area was an overgrown blackberry patch over a block wide, but is now in a liminal state with all the brush cleared out, set to have a road built through and a housing track (the gargoyle sighting occurred AFTER the woods were cleared, in 2020, while most of the other experiences were in 2012).”

In the spirit of allowing #WUFO to guide us into new experiences and experimental territories – and because we’d love for #WUFO to become a more public and participatory experience for as many people as possible, we decided to try to all visit en masse this specific location in our dreams and report out findings. All of us have been tracing the circle in our palm like the story from Mr. Arcturion and also visualizing the google street view image of the location from the second story submitted to the map.
We’ve been attempting this all week and we already had some dream syncs reported:
“My dream: I was moving these giant plushies/mannequins out from under a theater stage, while there was a weird showing going on (think Maury). The mannequins reminded me of the blow-up rainbow dudes outside car dealerships (like in the movie Nope) -” Bex Atwood:
Garrett Kelly: “Part of my dream involved looking out over a field that was being “setup” for maybe a traveling carnival or fair – early morning, everything still being built. And the main thing I noticed was a giant inflatable bouncy castle. The sync is around like “inflatableness” – which also could be like breathing air into something to give it form. Also with the theater mannequins and my like carnival fair vibes it makes me think abou a traveling “Paranormal Renfaire”. Instead of dressing up like bards and monarchs or whatever it’s folks larp’ing as Mothman or Giant Shrimp people and vending warm Gotten Puffs” – Garrett Kelly
“I dreamed I was in some kind of wild ‘secret bookstore’ (like in the Mr. Arcturion story?) lined with books from floor to ceiling. For some reason, the shopkeep (an older woman) was trying to sell me the store fixtures– empty glass cases, shelves with no content, etc.” Jeremy Puma:
Kiki Dombrowski also had a WUFO related dream that night (and also didn’t know about the spontaneous experiment):
“On #WUFO I dreamt about going to space to get a vial of white potion. When I got it back to Earth there was an alien invasion & the potion turned pink! So I shared it with @LiminalEarth friends. We drank it & transformed into invincible flying superheroes that saved the planet.”
Tonight’s Plan
If you remember, last year Liminal Earth actually did some dream related TikToks challenging folks to focus on a particular abandoned ‘dream park’ in Bremerton, Washington in order to find a box in the playground equipment with a secret item inside. Watch it here
Thousands of people tried the experiment, with varying degrees of success and only one major TikTok duet claiming that we were harvesting souls! (That really happened).
So, in the spirit of sucking out the life-force from the masses using dream magic (</sarcasm>), we’ll continue that! We’re definitely proponents of experimenting with dreams / dream interpretation when investigating paraweird phenomena, so we will talk about our experiences with the dream experimentation and will discuss plans for continuing this work for next week.
