Wednesday UFO Watch – June 29th, 2022

It’s Time! We hope you’re having a great summer! This is Week 24! If you’re new, here’s a FAQ that will get you started. Reminder: send us a picture of your completed punch card and we’ll send you a little something in the mail!

At its very core, WUFO is a fun break from the week to hang out and enjoy each others’ virtual presences. You can do as little as go outside (or check a sky cam) at 10 PM your local time, or as much as hosting your own WUFO watch party (virtually or IRL)! WUFO has also created itself in a way and is continuing to grow all on its own – we’re here for the ride, wherever it may take us. We’re glad you’re here, too!

This week we’ll be raising donations for Women Have Options

ABOUT WHO/O AND ABORTION FUNDS

Women Have Options (WHO/O) is Ohio’s statewide abortion fund. Founded in 1992, they are an organization dedicated to helping Ohioans afford their reproductive choices. They believe that everyone should be able to make their own reproductive decisions—and  work to make that a reality in Ohio. They are a founding member of the National Network of Abortion Funds, which includes more than 100 abortion funds around the United States and overseas.

WHAT THEY DO

WHO/O  provide financial assistance and practical support (transportation, housing, and more) to help patients afford contraception, emergency contraception, and abortion services. They distribute funds to clinics throughout Ohio. These clinics, in turn, use the funds to provide financial assistance to those in need. Since 1992, Women Have Options has helped thousands pay for their reproductive choices.

If you’re in a position to do so, please consider sending them some support!

This is going to be such a great show!

Stargazing Side Quest

Your Wednesday Night UFO Watch party side quest is here, courtesy of Astrologer Extraordinaire Maighdlin Kelly:

This week, we will be checking out the June Scutids / Eta Serpentinds meteor shower!

“The meteor shower occurs between 2 Jun- 29 Jul with the peak occurring on the 27th Jun. every year. The Solar Longitude (Abbrev: S.L., λ ☉) is 95 degrees, this value is the the date of maximum activity. It is measured as a degree with zero degree indicating spring equinox (roughly March 21st/22nd). 90 is the Summer Solstice, 180 is the Autumn Equinox and 270 is the Winter Solstice. This degree is independent of the calendar. The coordinates can also be determined by the Right Ascension (278) and the Declination (-4). The June Scutids should be visible from about ten p.m. when its dark in a south easterly direction. It will not get very high in the sky but should be visible until about 4 o’clock the next morning.” – Universe Guide

Last Week’s Recap

Last week, we all took a break from the Live Contact Session –

Bex and Jim Perry drove/ferried out to Maury/Vashon Island. Garrett just happened to be there as well. The three of them met up and conducted an Estes Method session on a floating cathedral dock. Why? This could be the location where the infamous Maury Island Incident occurred (the event that started the Summer of the Saucers in 1947). Using the Carrier Waves John E.L. Tenney created, we had an interesting conversation with someone. This then led us down some new rabbit holes!

It was finally a clear night for us up here in the Puget Sound! Bex went to Bigfoot Beach, and saw some very strange lights in the surrounding woods:
