#WUFO is here once again – this is Week 14! That’s 3 whole months of Wednesday UFO action, and then some! If you’re new, here’s a FAQ that will get you started. Reminder: send us a picture of your completed punch card and we’ll send you a little something in the mail!
Weekly Live Contact Session + Special Guest
Gone are the days where you need to check various socials for our weekly live contact sessions – now, you can watch the stream right here at 8:30 PM PST. Hit that bell icon to turn on notifications for this event!
We’re starting this week’s session a little early because we have a very special guest joining us (and the date of their appearance is very fitting): Katie Webb! She’s a Divinatrix, Budtender, and has had her fair share of experiences with extraterrestrials. Let’s give Katie a warm WUFO welcome (check out her website here).
Shop WUFO Merch
You can visit our shop here. Right now, the shop has both WUFO and Liminal Earth merch, but it this will soon be a WUFO-only shop. Also: we are offering FREE SHIPPING each and every Wednesday on orders over $20! Use code WUFO at checkout!
Stargazing Side Quest
Every week we’ll be featuring an astronomical side-quest from estimable astrologer Maighdlin Kelly! While you’re looking at the sky, take a moment to get to know it better.
Maighdlin says:
On 💨4/20💨 we’re gonna be looking for the 4th brightest star in the night sky – 🌟 ARCTURUS 🌟
Arcturus is a red giant star that is very easy to find in the night sky. Go outside, face east, and look for the bright one.
You can also use Spica, Regulus, and the Big Dipper (all previous #WUFO side quests) to help locate it. Boötes, the constellation Arcturus is in, makes kind of a big square in the sky with the others. Because Arcturus is so bright, it’s hard to mistake for another star.
Another way to find Arcturus is to “follow the arc” of the Big Dippers handle to it, as illustrated in this article.
Let us know if you found Arcturus the red giant! Happy celestial adventuring!
Last Week’s Recap
Last week was nice and mellow – Jeremy was on a remote Oregon beach and had to join the live contact session in spirit. Garrett and Bex chatted, pulled cards, and conducted another Estes Method session.
You can read the official transcript here.
Key Moments:
- Bex pulled the “Golden Egg” card while blindfolded – the image is basically a UFO, and it represents receiving gifts from survivors of long lost civilizations
- Several cities/areas are mentioned – Denver, Burbank, Davenport, Brooklyn
- “Bob’s Spring”
- “I wanna know if we can make some kind of exchange or we should go look for something”. Water (multiple times). A port. A team of 4. You mentioned a circle too”. Informed. Do your homework. “Which 4 people should come to the port?” You can.
- “Brooklyn is ballsy”
After the live, we were inspired to set up a dream experiment of sorts:
Did you have strange dreams that night?
Now let’s see how fellow WUFO-era spend this past Wednesday:
Tonight’s Plan
As mentioned above, Katie Webb is joining us tonight for the live contact session!
Each of us will be creating an altar representing each of the four elements (bowl of water, candle, incense, rocks, flowers, etc. – we encourage you to do the same if you’re comfortable). We will also be washing our hands in salt water before entering the session. Per usual, we will be leaving food offerings as well!
During the session, we will be creating a sigil for WUFO contact, drinking our UFO water, pulling cards, and conducting an Estes Method session of sorts.
As always, we are conducting our weekly live contact session right here, this time at 8:30 PM PST. Join us for some card pulls and an Estes Method session! If you’re wanting to watch directly from this site, all you have to do click the video above when it’s time!
Once 10:00 PM PST rolls around, we will head outside to look up, find Regulus and spend some time gazing at the sky. Bring plenty of snacks, blankets, and maybe some hagstone binoculars (if you just happen to have some around, like Jeremy). This concludes today’s WUFO post – we are SO excited for tonight’s watch! Who’s going to be “looking up” with us?!
