Stargazing Side Quest
Every week we’ll be featuring an astronomical side-quest from estimable astrologer Maighdlin Kelly! While you’re looking at the sky, take a moment to get to know it better.
Maighdlin says:
30 March 2022 we will be looking for REGULUS in constellation Leo! One easy way to find Regulus is to find Procyon (which we found a few weeks ago), then keep looking left until you find another bright one – that’s Regulus. Leo is a pretty easy constellation to learn too.
Because Regulus is right on the ecliptic, that means it can be seen from anywhere on Earth. The Moon passes close by this star every month and sometimes occults it, like in 2016 – 2018 when the Moon blocked it out entirely each month. Last Week’s Recap
Last week was…interesting.
Firstly, we were able to figure out how to stream all together, directly from this very website. Success! Now, the guys will be able to read any questions in the comments out loud, and they’ll now be include in the official session transcript (therefore providing even more context and data for review/finding patterns). We have big plans with this!
In preparation for the event, the three of us each made/acquired our own edible offerings for the aerial entities. Bex made peanut butter no-bake cookies in the shape of UFOs!
Soon, it was 9 PM and time to start the live contact session!
Cards Pulled:
- Garrett pulled the Chariot card before the session
- Anthour (again, OH deck) – emerging from the Hypogeum, the wellspring of the creative force
- Sky (OH deck) – hopping in between worlds
- The Moon (Mushroom Tarot) – ponder the fluidity of systems, complexity is ultimately simple when viewing from a different perspective
Key Moments from this Session:
- “What’s in the basement?” “Quality. From the marine. Creek. Airport” – reminds me of the breaking news in the Shrimpy case, with Entai creek and Shrimpy showing up in a basement
- “Apples do hypnotize”
- The majority of this session felt like a flowing convo between me and the guys
- “Fancy spiritual form”

- “Can you bring us more gifts?” “In one hour”
- Me: “Dreams” Guys: “What’s gonna happen in the dreams?” Me: “Coming down” “From above/with love” Guys: “Why are you coming down?” Me: “5”
Janet (viewer) pulled the 4 of Cups when I said “tired” – that’s the card for boredom - Bex’s spirit box dies as the guys were thinking about how to pull me out of the session
We also had the first official “UFO” sighting during WUFO, that night! You can view it here.
The beat and general house music playing under the scanning radio stations during the session was wild! We had never experienced anything like that prior. Watching back the session, it was also wild how it would only seem to play while Jeremy and Garrett were asking questions.
10 PM rolls around – time to look up and find the Andromeda galaxy!
Super interesting thing: the next day while morning scrolling, twitter was FLOODING with folks sharing their strange, out of the ordinary dreams (many of them being UFO-related). Dreams were mentioned during the session – maybe that’s the latest gift?

Tonight’s Plan
We are on schedule to do our usual WUFO activities: make/acquire food offerings, prepare WUFO space, set out a jar of UFO water, etc. Bex is working on an outdoor aerial entities altar and attempting to obtain a signal booster so she can stream from her backyard with minimum lag/disruption.

Once 10:00 PM PST rolls around, we will head outside to look up, find Regulus and spend some time gazing at the sky.
